Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp commemorate Singapore’s 55th birthday with an immersive 1 hour National Day Concert Special, set against the Gardens’ icons!

Hosted by Jean Danker, the celebratory concert will feature top local talents Nathan Hartono, Taufik Batisah, Inch Chua, and Yung Raja, along with popular local comedians Kumar, Gurmit Singh, and Suhaimi Yusof, among others. Also look forward to a special rendition of “Home” by President Halimah Yacob and Mr Mohamed, accompanied by Desmond Tan, JJ Neo and Taufik Batisah!

5. National Day Parade 2020

A broadcast of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's National Day message at 10 am will kick off the morning segment of the National Day Parade 2020, titled The Strength of Our Nation. This will be followed by the Live telecast of the Parade at the Padang via TV and internet platforms.

In addition to the state flag flypast, a mobile column comprising vehicles from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and Home Team, F-15 fighter jets, and the Red Lions (SAF parachute team) will also be making special appearances at the heartlands around Singapore.

The evening performance at The Star Performing Arts Centre in Buona Vista will be broadcast live on television and internet platforms.
