In celebration of our nation’s birthday, Esplanade celebrates the things that make us uniquely Singapore for the whole month of August. The series, Red Dot August, brings you a variety of free performances, such as storytelling videos, movies, dance, and music performances, which will be premiering every day at 8 pm. You can catch them at Esplanade Offstage or on Esplanade Facebook. Don’t worry if you’ve missed the previous performances, you can still watch them!
2. Gai Gai Tour: A Heritage Tour around Mount Faber

4. SCDF Fire Station Openhouse

For an insightful and educational Saturday, register a visit to the popular SCDF Fire Station Openhouse, which has restarted after a momentary pause due to COVID-19. You will be able to learn about the daily operation of the fire station as well as the roles of the Civil Defence personnel.
Each registration is capped at a maximum of 5 visitors and all visits are required to be pre-registered.
5. Virtual Tour of ACM Materials and Design Galleries

A while back, the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) opened new galleries, collectively themed as Materials and Design. Located on the third floor, decorative arts are the focus of the galleries.
