The highlight of the first Istana Open House of the year is the I’mable Gift Market, which aims to promote artworks and artisanal products by talented people with disabilities. You will be able to shop for a myriad of items such as homeware, jewelry, notebooks, paintings, and leather products at this edition of the I’mable Gift Market.
Kick of the year of rat by learning more about rats and their rodent relatives at the Wildlife Reserves of Singapore awareness booth. You can interact with two species of rodents—the Dumbo Rats and Guinea Pigs—play a mini-game and craft rat noses with recycled red packets.
Additionally, there will be performances by buskers, traditional Chinese performances like Lion Dance and Chinese drums, Nature Guided Walks, and guided tours of the main building. There will also be food trucks where you can feast on Thai fusion food and burgers.
