Skyrides Festivals Park – Catch a Panoramic View of Putrajaya

Please note that the Skyrides Balloon is currently being refurbished and is set to be reopened in Sept 2019.

Skyrides Festivals Park is Malaysia’s first tethered helium balloon theme park. While still tethered to the ground, the helium balloon takes flight, hovering high in the sky, providing a most picturesque bird’s eye view of the Putrajaya skyline. The experience beats gazing out from any observation deck sitting atop a skyscraper for you get a complete 360-view of the city.

The theme park also has various attractions catering to the different age groups. There’s the SkyWarrior Rainforest Challenge to put your strength and endurance to test, American Ninja Warrior style. Most of the 8 obstacles inspired by the rainforest are above water. In other words, if you drop, you’ll fall into water.

While you’re occupied with trying not to fall, the ninja juniors can conquer the SkyKids Warrior which consists of 15 obstacles meant to strengthen the muscles and motor-coordination skills of the little ones.

If your little ones would rather pass on all that running and sweating, they can check in to the air-conditioned indoor play area filled with toys, games and other play elements.

But if they’re up for more adventures, set them loose at the SkyBuggy circuit where they’ll get to manoeuvre a mini four-wheel off road vehicle pass speed bumps and curves. A little practice before they get to drive on an actual four-wheel years down.

At SkyDemo, you can try your hand at Malaysian handicrafts. To refill your energy with bites and beverages, head to SkyTaste. After exploring to your fill, you can wrap your visit up with a nice keepsake from the SkyGallery.
