We are entering 2023 and saying goodbye to 2022! This week's list of family fun looks at the various countdown events happening across the island this week! From the massive Marina Bay events to fireworks, time to check it out!

1. Star Island + Star Island Prequel

STAR ISLAND, the multi-sensory fireworks musical extravaganza, will also be returning to The Float at Marina Bay. Replete with artisanal fireworks, dazzling performances, pyrotechnics and state-of-the-art technologies, the ticketed show promises a thrilling and memorable experience for spectators. 

For the first time, STAR ISLAND will present a free admission multi-sensory playground, Prequel to STAR ISLAND, at Marina Bay Event Plaza where you can expect to get a sneak peak of the show. 

2. Festivities At The Marina Bay Countdown 2023

Date: 31 Dec 2022

Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2023 will bring back the highly anticipated fireworks display after a two-year absence. Come 31 December, families will be able to view the fireworks at midnight from around the Bay to welcome the new year! 

That's not all! Families can also head down to the Great Bay Fiesta and play at the carnival games, join the Let’s Celebrate 2023 Countdown Concert by MediaCorp, catch the Merlion and Fullerton Hotel light up with projections or take part in After Hours @ The Lawn! 

3. Countdown at Our Tampines Hub

Venue: Our Tampines Hub
Dates: 31 Dec 2022, 10.30 pm - 12.30 am (show), 31 Dec 2022 - 2 Jan 2023

Families can countdown with Our Tampines Hub at the Countdown To Magical Moments 2023 Show with year-end festivities, a circus-themed show and fireworks happening on 31 Dec 2022

Catch breathtaking acrobatic performances, exciting elements of energetic drum performances, juggling acts and fire performances and dazzling fireworks display for the festive celebration. There will also be fun-filled activities until 2 Jan 2023!

4. Visit The Cute Rabbits @ SCCC (Tu)gether Art Installation

Venue: Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre Roof Garden
Dates: 18 Dec 2022 - 31 Mar 2023
Admission: Free

The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) ushers in the Year of The Rabbit with a cheekily named art installation exhibition, (Tu)gether, that is cute and full of photo opportunities for the entire family! From Rabbits playing mahjong to sharing a hotpot meal, you will find the characters in various interesting activities! 

Families can also collect limited-edition red packets by heading down to the reception at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre Level 1before 5 February 2023

5. Last Chance To Visit The Jurong Bird Park

Venue: Jurong Bird Park
Date: now to 3 Jan 2023

Jurong Bird Park will be leaving its current premises at Jurong and move to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve - use this opportunity to visit the park before it closes on 3 Jan 2023! There will also be other activities happening as part of it's closing celebrations, A Flight To Remember.
