Hosted by Social Lab SG and HuaHuafu Mandarin Chinese, Mid-Autumn Storytelling and DIY Lantern is an interactive class where little ones can learn Mandarin through rhymes and storytelling about the Mid-Autumn Festival. They’ll also be able to put their hands to work with an eco-friendly DIY lantern craft, which will be instructed in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

You can collect all the materials you will need from around your house for the craft session or purchase a DIY kit at $12. 75 percent of proceeds from the kit sales, as well as the ticket sales, will go to Club Rainbow (Singapore).

Gateway Kids Club has been presenting a series of Mid-Autumn related stories this month in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. 

Coming up next in the series are The Lantern Festival, a tale that follows Little Lin Yi, who was sent to buy food for the upcoming Moon Festival and unveils his bartering skills when a red rabbit lantern catches his eye, and; The Jade Rabbit, which is a story about how a humble rabbit rose to a mighty position thanks to his good character. To mark the International Week of the Deaf, The Jade Rabbit will also feature Sign Language Interpretation!
