HaveFun Karaoke, a family theme karaoke chain, introduces movie nights in its 6 outlets for families to enjoy a meal and movie while in a private room!

Venue: 6 locations islandwide
Fees: $12.80++ without food

Affected by the COVID-19 restrictions, HaveFun Karaoke has pivoted its Karaoke business into an F&B establishment and offering its once popular karaoke room as private dining rooms for small groups. It looks to expand its offering by offering families a cosy alternative for enjoying a meal and movie in a private setting!

Private Family Movie Package

Available at all 6 HaveFun Karaoke outlets in Singapore, the Private Family Movie Package is for families (up to 5 pax) to use their private rooms to enjoy a meal and watch a movie.

While the movies available are not the latest, there is the option to switch to Netflix which is absolutely great! There are also meal combos to cater to 3, 4 or 5 pax groups too.

Movie Options

At the time of publish, the family-friendly movie options include The Greatest Showman, The Secret Life of Pets 2, Trolls World Tour, Beauty And The Best, and Johnny English Strikes Again.

If these show are not appropriate, you will also have the option to switch to Netflix or to listen to the available music videos too. The Netflix option is useful to catch up on series or to watch a latest show with the family!

Depending on the number of people, you can choose from one of the following meal combos available.

Mini Set B (Non Spicy - mix of fried / grilled skewers)

Combo B (4 person)

Mini Set A (Non Spicy - mix of fried / grilled skewers)

Ferris wheel (a combination of fries, chicken nuggets, cuttlefishball, seaweed chicken, popcorn chicken, served on a Ferris Wheel)

Availability & Pricing

The availability and pricing is subject to changes as the team is still tweaking the offering and how to best package the option for families. The following information is taken from HaveFun Karaoke at Downtown East and should be correct for all 6 outlets at time of publishing.

Room Rates (3 hours), includes use of room and movie

$12.80++ per pax
Free with min. spending of approximately $200 on food and alcohol
Available before 6 pm on weekends, and whole day weekday (based on availability of rooms)

Food Combo

Combo A: $21.80
Combo B: $28.80
Combo C: $38.80

While the room rates does feel on the higher end, the pricing of the food combo quite balances it out. A family of 4 will spend about $100 for 3 hours use of the room and dinner.

*BYKidO Tip: If you go on a quiet day, the outlets will be happy to extend the use of the room if there is noone else waiting for a room.
