Set off to enjoy a buffet of thrilling water rides at Austin Heights Water Park. Choose to spiral down the tube slide at Rainbow Hood, get twirled around at Racer Bowl, plunge down a high-speed lane, and more.

For the tiny tots who can’t go on such heart-racing rides yet, there are giant flora showers and a water playground with its kiddy-safe version of tube, spiral and straight slides, sprinklers and a gigantic bucket that’ll occasionally dump water on you.

While Austin Heights Adventure Park’s suspension rope obstacle course may not be for kids, bold-hearted parents can give it a try. Otherwise, head on over to the Sports and Leisure Centre. Featuring a Drift Kart, an Indoor Trampoline Park and an Ice Skating Rink, you’re guaranteed to have an intoxicating time, no matter your age.

Board a boat at night fall at Kota Tinggi Firefly Park and take a trip to the habitat of fireflies, where you’ll be able to feast your eyes on thousands of fireflies flash and flitter like millions of stars in the night sky. To say it’ll be a night you won’t forget might be an understatement.

3. Noah’s Ark Natural Animal Sanctuary [Temporarily Closed]

If you love animals, you’re going to absolutely adore Noah’s Ark Natural Animal Sanctuary, a privately funded animal shelter. Founded by Raymund Wee, hundreds of dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and many other animals roam freely in this ‘No Kill Santuary'. To visit the sanctuary, you have to make an appointment prior to your visit. The sanctuary also holds monthly educational tours for a small fee. 

4 Zenxin Organic Park

A visit to the Zenxin Organic Park, a large organic farm full of vegetables, herbs and fruits, is a great opportunity to teach your little munchkins how food is grown. Take the opportunity to get up-and-chose with farm animals like rabbits and ducks, experience bottle-feeding fishes in the pond, and check out the mushroom house and flower nursery.

Aside from that you can also go cycling around the park, shoot some arrows at the archery range and make floral imprints on a fabric to bring home as a memento of your visit.

Do note that all tours are open on Saturdays only and you have to pre-book 3 days in advance.

5. LEGOLAND® Malaysia
