1. Vannathamizh 2018

Location: National Library Board, 100 Victoria St, Singapore 188064

This year, the organisers of the Tamil Language Festival have taken inspiration from the elegance of Chinese calligraphy and fused it with Tamil alphabets in an effort to motivate and encourage little ones to learn and enjoy Tamil.

With the purpose of infusing the habit of reading in little ones, the Singapore Book Council will be holding a Tamil storytelling session.

2. In the Act – An Interactive Drama for Children

Location: Indian Heritage Centre, 5 Campbell Ln, Singapore 209924

Little ones will be taken on a thrilling rollercoaster ride in this drama as they interact with the characters and pilot them through the scenarios.

3. Jingle Jiggle

Location: Indian Heritage Centre, 5 Campbell Ln, Singapore 209924

Hour: 1.30 pm – 3.00 pm

Do you know what it takes to become a performer? Learn your basics here.

Step one, create your own musical instruments, using recycled materials. Step two, choreograph a cool dance. Last but not least, combine your musical instruments, dance steps and song together to put up a performance and have a blast!

4. Kaviyum Naatiyamum

Location: Pek Kio Community Club, 21 Gloucester Rd, Singapore 219458
Date: 29 Apr 2018
Hour: 7 pm – 10 pm
Admission: FREE

Watch Tertiary students recite poetry and choreograph and perform, a dance for that poetry at this competition!
