The package comes with a 4 hour bicycle rental for the entire family as well as early and late check-out too!
Ride Through Marina Bay
Make a booking prior to your stay and head down to the concierge to collect your customised red bicycle at your booking time. These bikes are customised in partnership with SG Bike and there will be children-sized bikes, bikes with training wheels and bikes with child seat available too.
There are 2 time slots to choose from, one in the morning (8 am) and the other in the evening (4 pm). This gives you either the waterfront view in the day or the mesmerising night view of the city's skyline when dusk falls.
There are 2 specially designed suggested routes where you will ride through Instagrammable locations in the district such as the Merlion Park, Singapore Flyer and Gardens by the Bay! The hotel suggested that we should go on the City Bike-Venture route as it was shorter and easier for kids. For the adventurous ones, you may wish to attempt the Garden Bike-Venture route or simply set off on your own preferred routes.
Our Biking Experience
We collected our bikes for the 4 pm slot. We had 2 adult bikes, a children-sized one and one with training wheels. We started our trip at the fountain in front of the hotel driveway where we snapped a couple of photos with the hotel entrance to mark the start of our journey.
We decided to follow the City Bike-Venture that will take us from the Helix Bridge to Esplanade, and across the Marina Bay Promenade to the Esplanade before heading towards the Floating Platform and back to the hotel.
The entire ride took us approx. 2.5 hours with a 2 snack breaks and lots of photo taking along the way.
The hotel provided a snack pack per person, and it included a 100PLUS drink, a banana, packet of mixed nuts and raisins, and a packet of Hey! Chips, dried fruits and vegetable chips. We are not sure if the items will remain the same for all bookings.
If you go on the City-Venture route, we do recommend that you stop for photos at the Art-Science Museum, the Big Chair along Marina Promenade, of Marina Bay Sand from across the Bay and at the Merlion.
Snack breaks will be useful at less crowded, open areas. We stopped at Art-Science Museum (although it was at the beginning of the ride) and after Fullerton Bay Hotel.
The Stay At Mandarin Oriental

If you are able to, request for a room with the city view and you will get a great view of the building around the Marina Bay. The view in the night is even more mesmerising!
The pool offers a great view of the city skyline, and you can book an hour at the pool for each day and get to enjoy the use of the Cabanas along the pool too.

‘Bikecation’ accommodation package is priced from SGD 399 per night in the Ocean View Room with the following inclusions:

- Complimentary bicycles (4-hour per day)
- Complimentary healthy snacks to go
- Complimentary bed and breakfast for the third and fourth occupants for applicable room types
- Guaranteed early check-in at 12pm and late check-out at 5pm except for Suites

Valid for stays from now until 31 August 2022, room rates are per room per night, and subject to 10% service charge and prevailing government tax.
