Flower Dome has transformed into a whimsical Nordic wonderland for this Christmas season. This year’s Poinsettia Wishes features iconic landmarks in the Nordic region such as the Bolgen building in Denmark, Santa Claus Village in Finland, Hallgrimskirkja church in Iceland, Vennesla library in Norway and Triangeln train station in Sweden with a Christmas twist. Additionally, livening up the festive mood settled amidst the blooms of poinsettias and winter blooms in shades of red, blue, yellow and white, are a choir of Nordic gnomes called Nisse.

The yearly Arts in Your Neighbourhood is back and this time the focus is on Punggol. Home to many young families with little kids, Arts in Your Neighbourhood has over 40 family-friendly programs lined-up spanning across the various art forms, from music and dance to visual and literary arts.

Highlights include programs such as A Rainbow Odyssey, an interactive performance, Five Stones, an interactive art installation, and 7 Wonders of Punggol, a multi-disciplinary, multi-ethnic performance.

Please note that some of the events require pre-registration.

Families Go Green aims to motivate and encourage families, as a unit, to adopt more sustainable habits, such as repurposing everyday household waste creatively into useful items like playthings. Families Go Green has an array of activities that you can participate in with your little ones, such as the Green Warrior Inflatable Obstacle Course, Upcycle Workshops, activities at the Sustainable Singapore Gallery, and Up Your Game! Carnival Games.

You can also register for free to take part in the National Family Upcycling Challenge and complete a series of games and activities as a family. Aside from there will also be an Upmarket by CDC and Food Trucks to keep you energized through the afternoon.

From being a trading post to becoming the next-generation port, Singapore’s maritime industry has come a long way. Experience this remarkable journey of growth and transformation through the year at Bazaar by the Pier. Held in commemoration of the Singapore Bicentennial, the bazaar will have food stalls and fringe activities. Additionally, there will also be an exhibition of winning photography works, ‘My Defining Maritime Moment’.

Returning as part of the ‘Voilah! France Singapore Festival’ is Singapore’s longest-running foreign film festival, the French Film Festival. Over the course of two weeks, more than 20 latest films and classics, exploring matters close to our heart, will be screened at various community clubs, Shaw Theatres Lido, The Projector, and Alliance Française. Families can look forward to films like Marona’s Fantastic Tale and Ballerina.
