A monthly drive-in movie screening is coming to Downtown East, kicking off with the award-winning musical hit "The Greatest Showman" on 8 August.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy a movie cum picnic in the comfort and safety of your car for just $18 (inclusive of two burgers and two soft drinks from Ministry Of Burgers).
The movie will be screened on a 12m x 8m screen, and the audio of the movie will be played directly on your car stereo via the FM channel.
To give the event an “old-school” vibe, the Downtown East Drive-in Cinema will also have servers on roller skates zipping about to deliver delicious bites to you.
Guests may simply top up another $5 for an additional burger-and-soft-drink set. In addition, there will also be other snacks (such as, popcorn, nacho & cheese, potato wheel crackers, and kacang putih) available for purchase.

Safe distancing measures
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, safety measures will be put in place, such as:
- Temperature taking for all guests
- SafeEntry check-ins
- A maximum of five participants per car
- Cars parked at alternate lots to maintain safe distancing
- Staff to wear gloves and masks while serving food
Ticketing
As the drive-in is capped to a maximum of forty cars, do secure your tickets fast!

Event day walk-ins are subjected to availability (and does not include burgers and drinks).
Cars will be allowed to drive in to fill the parking lots from 6pm on a first-come-first-served basis. The movie will begin at 7.30pm sharp.
Future Screenings
Subsequent screenings will be held on 12 September, 24 October and 21 November.
