1. Kwai Chai Hong

Following a successful installation during Chinese New Year, the team behind Kwai Chai Hong introduced "Hops and Dreams" as the theme for Mid-Autumn Festival this year. 8 local artists are invited to visualise the story of "Jade Rabbit" in their own imagination and creativity. During the weekend, there will also be oriental art and craft workshops in nearby cafes to educate and entertain, which are suitable for all ages. 

 

2. Mid Valley Megamall

Lighten up with lanterns in bright hues, Mid Valley is definitely one of the places to check put for Mid-Autumn festivals.  Luxurious mooncakes from Klang Valley’s finest hotels such as Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur, Mandarin Oriental, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, Sheraton PJ and Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur are also available at here.

 

3. Pavilion

Upon walking in to the mooncake fair at center court, your eyes would be blessed with over 2,000 colourful hanging lanterns and brightly-lit fish and flower décor lining the Spanish Steps, encapsulating the beauty and bounty of mid-autumn. Look forward to a symphony of events throughout the month including a fascinating Symphony Drum Show, singing performances, LED dragon performance, as well as traditional workshops to learn news skills, from lantern and polymer clay craft to the art of making mooncakes.

 

4. Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya

Paradigm Mall is providing a host of ways to make memories with family and friends while you celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival this year. Throughout the month, you can participate in lantern making competition, get creative and learn how to make your own snowskin mooncakes at the Snowskin Mooncake Baking workshops or enjoy a Mid-Autumn Tea Party while listening to a storytelling session. There will also be a Mooncake Festival Bazaar happening all month.

5. Damen Mall

 

At this mall in Subang Jaya, children can enjoy many activities, like a lantern mini parade, costume competition, and piano and lantern dance performance.
